In 2006, Ofcom reviewed the use of 0845 and 0870 telephone numbers, and came to the conclusion that they are confusing to customers. They have introduced new numbers starting 0333 for companies. The 0333 number is charged at the same amount for calls to 01 & 02 numbers and are also included as part of your inclusive minutes from mobiles and landlines.
